Sandy Angle - Artist

Sandy was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) in 1981. Her creative energies have taken her in several different directions over the years including ceramics, photography, and wire and paper art. After taking jewelry courses at ACAD, she was inspired to make jewelry design the focus of her creative energies.

DESIGNER JEWELRY

In 2004 she opened "Stillwater Design Studio." The studio is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Redwood Meadows, Alberta. Many of her designs are contemporary and organic in nature, reflecting the natural world around her. She prefers to work with sterling silver, often incorporating semi-precious stones and lamp work glass into her designs.

Her jewelry is exhibited in Suncatcher’s Design Studio in Bragg Creek as well as in the Trans Canada Pipeline Tower + 15. She also participates in several art shows, markets and festivals in Southern Alberta including the Bragg Creek Artisans Show, Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market, and many others.
